Dodge's first Challengers showed up in 1970, and a Detroit police officer named Godfrey Qualls bought a special Hemi R/T street machine that became known as the Black Ghost. In 2023, as part of the Last Call program, Dodge released 300 Black Ghost editions based on the Hellcat Redeye Widebody design to pay homage to the historic 1970 example. Under the hood sits a Supercharged 6.2L Hemi V-8 engine making over 800Hp! Power is sent to the road through an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and the limited-slip differential. Additional features include, SRT suspension modes for the Widebody layout and Brembo brakes.
